We had a great afternoon celebrating International cat day. The residents took part in a quiz on YouTube ( Which was quite tricky) followed by some cakes with little card cats on. We talked about our cats looking at the pictures on the board. Coral made some little cat shaped biscuits for everyone to enjoy too.

Residents have thoroughly embraced the spirit of St. George’s Day. They enjoyed a fun game themed around slaying dragons, fostering camaraderie and laughter. The quiz added an educational twist, revealing fascinating facts about our beloved Patron Saint.
Coral has recently welcomed some baby chicks into her family. On Saturday, she brought them into Croft for a visit. The residents spent time holding and stroking them which brought lots of happy smiles. Bringing chicks into a care home setting is one of the most effective ways to spark joy and light up a room. It is a multi sensory experience that combines the soft tactile sensation of the downy feathers with the gentle rhythmic cheep cheep sounds that can be very soothing.
Our in house hairdresser, came into our home to do some trims and blow-dries. The residents, especially the ladies, enjoy these weekly visits as it makes them feel beautiful. They also enjoy to have a good old chat at the same time. This is a lovely relaxing time for the residents. There is no better feeling that getting a spruce up.
